Black Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
At some point I have to own a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. While the 599 is an entirely different animal than the Enzo or the 458, I hold it at the same level of desirability. Maybe it’s the flying buttresses I’m attracted to, such a unique detail and a convenience to commuting rollerbladers (yes, the first time I saw the 599 was in this “Car and Driver” article: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2007-ferrari-599gtb-fiorano-road-test). It could also be the engine hiding beneath that long bonnet: A slightly modified Enzo 6 Liter V12 which produces a naturally aspirated 612 horsepower. Perhaps it’s the roomy, well appointed, interior, with optional carbon fiber “Daytona” style seats, or the adjustable “MagneRide” suspension or the “F1 SuperFast” flappy paddle gear box. Most likely it’s a combination of all these elements.
This 599 was spotted at the 2011 Hill Country Grand Prix benefiting www.PatientForward.org.
